Morning Briefing
My day at Bee Busters starts early with a team meeting. We review the day’s schedule and discuss the various calls we’ve received from across Orange County. Today, we have a mix of bee removal, relocation, and wasp elimination tasks.
First Stop: Anaheim
Our first job takes us to Anaheim, where a homeowner has discovered a large beehive in their attic. As we arrive, I gear up in my protective suit and carefully inspect the situation. We decide that this colony is perfect for relocation, so we begin the delicate process of removing the hive and safely transferring the bees to a temporary hive box.
Midday in Laguna Beach
After successfully relocating the Anaheim bees, we head to Laguna Beach for a wasp elimination job. The customer’s backyard has been overtaken by an aggressive wasp nest. Using our specialized equipment and eco-friendly treatments, we safely remove the nest and ensure the area is secure for the homeowners.
Afternoon in Irvine
Our final stop of the day is in Irvine, where we’ve been called to remove a swarm of bees that has settled on a tree in a residential area. This job requires a gentle touch as we want to preserve the bee population. We carefully collect the swarm and prepare them for relocation to a local beekeeper’s apiary.
End of Day Wrap-up
As the sun sets, we return to headquarters to clean our equipment and debrief on the day’s activities. We discuss any challenges we faced and share tips for future jobs. It’s been a busy day, but knowing we’ve helped both our customers and the local bee population makes it all worthwhile.
Working at Bee Busters is never dull, and each day brings new adventures. Whether we’re in Mission Viejo, Lake Forest, or anywhere else in Orange County, our team is always ready to tackle any bee or wasp situation with professionalism and care for these important insects.
